PIU CLICK - LGD & Dmc Malir conducted stakeholder consultative session in UC 4, Majeed Colony, on February 3, 2022. DMC Malir has proposed the rehabilitation of a community hall at UC-4 under emergency grant.
Decent public participation was observed. Locals were positive and found supportive of the initiative proposed by DMC Malir. The attendees also emphasized on rehabilitation of public parks in the area of UC-4.
PIU CLICK - LGD & Dmc Malir conducted stakeholder consultative session in UC 8 on February 3, 2022. DMC Malir has proposed rehabilitation of Janbaz Football Ground at UC-08, Moinabad, Dawood Chali, Malir. Decent public participation, was observed in the session.
Public consultative meeting for rehabilitation of Rehri Road , No 6, Cattle Colony, UC – 5, was held on November 15, 2021. During the consultation process about the proposed sub-project, people expressed keen interest in the proposed sub-projects.
People, in general, were very enthusiastic about the benefits of the sub-projects for the residents and daily commuters in particular. People pledged to extend all types of support during the execution of the sub-projects as their suffering would be addressed after completion of the sub-projects.
Public consultative meeting for rehabilitation of Metaled Road from Khuldabad Dispensary Road, UC – 6 was held on November 15, 2021.
The community was appraised of the overall project’s aim and objectives by PIU-CLICK and design consultant’s team. Community was, unanimously, found supportive of the project and provided their valuable suggestions to make it a success.
Consultative session with community at DMC Malir for Rehabilitation of Road from Shumaila Public School to Dawlance Factory & Road No.6 Commercial area was held on Nov 10, 2021. Well-rounded community participation was observed, especially, females were present in decent numbers.
Information dissemination was ensured prior to the public engagement of the proposed project. For the registration of complaints, the telephone number and address of the DMC was provided to the locals. A grievance redress mechanism was described within the ESMP to ensure any public grievances related to the sub-projects are addressed quickly.
Overall, the stakeholders were found in favor of the sub-project. The sub-project has community’s full support
